AMATE Winery is a small wine producer situated in the Kvemo Kartli region of Georgia, at 12 Niko Nikoladze Street. Kvemo Kartli lies south of Tbilisi and includes areas such as Bolnisi and Marneuli, known for their long-standing viticultural traditions alongside agricultural and pastoral landscapes. The region’s proximity to the capital makes it accessible for a day visit or a stop on a longer route through southern Georgia.

Visitors travelling through Kvemo Kartli can combine a stop at AMATE with exploration of the wider area, which includes rural villages, vineyards, and countryside typical of this part of the country. The region is reachable from Tbilisi by road, with the journey offering views of the transition from urban to rural Georgia.

AMATE describes itself simply as wine made with love, suggesting a personal or small-scale approach to winemaking. The winery may appeal to travellers interested in Georgian wine culture and those looking to explore lesser-visited wine-producing areas outside the more frequented Kakheti region.
