Kakheti is Georgia’s principal wine region, stretching east from the Gombori mountains to the Alazani Valley and the Vashlovani borderlands. Visitors touring its vineyards and cellars typically base themselves in one of three places: Sighnaghi, the hilltop fortress town overlooking the valley; Telavi, the regional capital and a hub for excursions to nearby villages and wine estates; or Kvareli, further east and known for its lake and wine cellars. Between tastings, a place to rest matters as much as the wine itself.
This list was compiled by the GTour desk from the national register of licensed accommodation in Kakheti. Entries were selected for location relative to the main wine towns and estates, an established and verifiable presence (address and working website on record), and what each property offers a traveller moving between vineyards. No payment was accepted for inclusion and no ratings are claimed; the order below is not a ranking of quality.

10. Park Hotel Tsinandali Estate
Park Hotel opened in 2019 within the historic Tsinandali Estate in the Telavi region, former home of the Chavchavadze family and now a wine and culture landmark. It is suited to travellers who want to stay directly on a historic wine estate rather than commute to it from town.
How to use this list
Travellers planning a Kakheti wine trip can use this list to choose a base that matches their route: Sighnaghi properties for those centring on the Alazani Valley and the town’s old quarter, Telavi and estate hotels such as Tsinandali for those touring central Kakheti’s wineries, and Kvareli or Napareuli options for trips extending further east toward the lake region. Each entry’s listed address can be checked against a map before booking, and the hotel’s own website, noted in the register, should be consulted directly for availability and services.
